Women Unlimited (www.womenunlimited.org) has announced their agenda and impressive line-up of workshops planned for the Maine Tradeswomen’s Conference 2010. Kicking off the two day event will be a Career Options Fair, which is free and open to the public. Beginning on Friday March 19th at 1pm the Senator Inn in Augusta will play host to at least two-dozen businesses,  construction Companies, colleges and technical schools looking to introduce women, men and minorities to non-traditional careers.
Saturday’s Maine Tradeswomen’s Conference features a wide array of workshop titles including: Exploration in Welding, Building Arc Forms, Job Seeking Tips in Tough Times, The CDL Experience, Basics of Rigging, Installing a Sump Pump, Budgeting, Retrofit Realizations, Be a solution to High Heating Bills, Licensed to Thrill (pyrotechnician), Oil Burn Tear Down & Live Fire.
Interspersed during the Tradeswomen’s conference will be prominent keynote speakers such as Maine Congressman Michael Michaud, Jonathan McDade from the Federal Highway Administration and the founder of Women Unlimited Dale McCormick.
